Activities in Erbil as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2014

1- 31st December2013 - New Year Celebration for 2014 in Shanader Park

2- 7th January 2014 - A formal opening of the website for Erbil as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2014

3- 12th to 18th January 2014 - The Anniversary of Maulud (the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be up on him)) in Jalel Khayat Mosque.

4- 16th to 19th January 2014 - Festival for Children.

5- 19th to 21st January 2014 - Workshop of Tourism Media at Erbil International Hotel.

6- 31st of January and 1st of February 2014 - Ice Skating Festival.

7- 2nd to 4th February - Workshop for the implementation of the Strategic Plan at Erbil International Hotel.

8- 15th and 16th February 2014 - Kurdistan and Iraq Orchestra musical performance, the first day is to present the Logo and Shield of the Capital of the Arab Tourism. On the Second Day is the Opera Play at the Hall Saad Abdulla Convention.

9- 21st and 22nd of February 2014 – The Kurdish and Arab Forum for travel and tourism companies, hotels and restaurants at Erbil International Hotel.

10- 22nd and 23rd February – Musical Orchestra – at night - at the Hall Saad Abdulla Convention.

11- 25th and 26th of February - The first Kurdish and Arab media and journalist forum at Erbil International Forum.

12- 26th of February to 1st March 2014 - International Exhibition of Flowers, air-conditioning and coolant at Erbil International Exhibition.

13- 5th to 7th of March 2014 – Electronic Tourism Workshop at the Erbil International Hotel.

14- 6th to 9th of March 2014 – International Automobile Exhibition and mechanical Tools at the Erbil International Exhibition.

15- 11th to 20th of March 2014 – Skydiving at Shanader Park and elsewhere for the Nawruz Festival.

16- 13th to 16th of February 2014 – International Exhibition of Glassware and Decoration at the Erbil International Exhibition.

17- 23rd of March 2014 - Festival of arts and folklore of Kurdistan at the Kandinawa Area.

This is with the participation in the Berlin International Exhibition on behalf of Erbil, the Arab Tourism Capital for 2014, and the establishment of an international tournament for weightlifting.
